The Olympic Games - Chariots of Fire
Lecturer: Hilary Hope Guise
The lecture will draw on ancient sources, vases, sculpture and texts to bring the Games to life in the year of our British Olympics and we will also look back at previous events. Tickets available from 9th Jan 2012. - 21 - 24 May 2012
Trip to Hereford and Monmouth
Lecturer: David Bostwick
A special trip arranged for our members through ACE Cultural Tours. The itinerary includes private tours of five privately-owned houses of special historic interest, including Eastnor Castle. Places on this tailor-made short break are limited to 24 with priority given to Chester DFAS members and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
