Plans for Change
In September 2012, your committee
has agreed that Chester DFAS will become a dual lecture Society.
Our increasing popularity, with a membership of 250 and a substantial waiting list, means that we have outgrown our venue which holds a maximum of 173 people with no possibility of additional seating because of health and safety regulations.
Moving to 2 lectures will give everyone a fair chance
of attending, allow us to introduce new members from the waiting list
and include occasional members’ guests.
When you renew your membership in June 2012, you will be asked to choose whether you want to attend either the Morning 11.00 am lecture or the Afternoon 2.00 pm lecture and these changes will commence in September 2012. The provisional timings are:

Our Society will be stronger and more viable after these changes and Chester DFAS will be able to grow and include a wider membership while remaining a friendly, welcoming society.
