About Chester DFAS
As a member society of NADFAS, the Chester Society follows the aims of the National Association which are: 'the promotion and advancement of the aesthetic education, the cultivation, appreciation and study of the decorative and fine arts and the giving of aid to the preservation of the artistic heritage of the UK and other countries for the benefit of the public.'
Meetings and Venue
Chester DFAS meets every 3rd Tuesday in the month at the Zoo Lecture Theatre, Upton-by-Chester. Lectures will start at 2pm prompt with the doors open at 1.15pm. Tea and coffee is available before the lectures.
Parking
There is ample parking space at the Lecture Theatre. Please park with consideration for others and to allow access for emergency vehicles.
Disabled Access
Please note that there is good disabled access to the venue and a disabled toilet is on site.
Membership Fee
Membership is £45 per annum plus a joining fee of £10 for the first year.

Guests and members of our waiting list are
welcome to attend up to three monthly lectures each season and
this interest should be registered in advance per lecture with the
Membership Secretary. There is a charge of £7 per lecture
