AGM 2011
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting
of the Society will be held at St. Mary's Centre, Chester
on Tuesday 8 March 2011 at 7.30pm.
The Annual General Meeting of Chester Decorative and Fine Arts Society is called to:
- Receive and adopt the Annual Committee Report introduced by the Chairman
- Receive and adopt the Accounts for 2010 and reappoint the Financial Examiner
- Appoint duly notified nominees to the Committee for 2011-2012
- Consider and vote upon any Resolutions referring to the conduct of Society matters which have been duly proposed, seconded, and notified to the Hon. Sec. no later than Tuesday 1 February
All members of the Society are entitled to make Nominations for Committee and to submit Resolutions for consideration at the AGM . These should all be in writing, proposed and seconded by Society members. The final date for submission is 1 February 2011 (35 days before the AGM ).
Forms for Nominations and Resolutions to the AGM are available
either on the ChesterDFAS Notice boards, or directly from the Hon. Sec.
Alternatively, they may be completed and submitted online or
downloaded/printed using the links below.
Copies of the Accounts for 2010 and Minutes of the 2010 AGM
will be provided at the Meeting. These will also be available by post,
upon request, from the Hon. Sec.
The AGM Agenda, including details of Resolutions put forward, will be on display at our Zoo venue at the February Lecture, together with a copy of the Society's Constitution. These documents will also be posted on our website www.chesterdfas.org.uk , or will be available by post, upon request, from the Hon. Sec.
